I had the opportunity to visit Mystic Modes recently. The spa had been recommended by a friend. Sandra, the asthetician, was very thorough in her work. I had gone in for a facial and was quite pleased with the results. I found out that the spa also does waxing, and I plan to use them at my next opportunity. From Yellowbot.com So I took her advice and went to see Sandra, the technician for a brow wax and to get myself done up for a night out on the town. I loved the treatment. Sandra did a great job and was very friendly. I can see why my friend loved the place so much. I did as well. And like my friend, I will wholehartedly recommend Mystic Modes to my friends also. From Yahoo Local I had a wonderful experience at Mystic Modes. I felt like a queen! I had a massage and I felt great afterward. I will be going back there to take advantage of their waxing services. Jerry did a great massage, and I have no doubt that Sandra will be terrific on the wax work. I decided to use my gift certificate for a wax. I was most impressed with Sandra, the owner, who did the wax work on me. She was very professional and did a thorough job. I will be going back to Mystic Modes in the future. I was informed that the spa offers facials, and even massage. There was some very interesting merchandise that I noticed while I was there. That gift certificate to Mystic Modes was the perfect gift. What a treat! I was reffered to Mystic Modes, this little spa in the artsy-fartsy section of Chattanooga, TN by a friend. I needed a little facial work done. First of all the atmosphere and in the spa was very good. I was welcomed in and while I was waiting for my appointment, I was made very comfortable by Sandra, the woman that would be doing the facial. I later found out that she was a co-owner. I had a few minutes to wait for my appointment, and while I sat there, I was offered tea, cookies. I felt like I was really welcome and that my visit was appreciated. As for the facial, it was great! Sandra did a great job. I will definitly go back for some of their other services. From CitySearch There is no other like this one! I was in need to have my eyebrows waxed and shaped, and a friend recommended Sandra at Mystic Modes. I decided to stop by on my way home from work to see if they could fit me in. When I walked in I was greeted by a very sweet lady behind the front desk, and when I asked if they had time for an eyebrow wax, she said absolutely, if I didn't mind a 10 min wait. While I waited, I was offered a hot cup of tea and a cookie! As I ate my cookie and drank my tea Sandra introduced herself and led me to her treatment room. She waxed my eyebrows to perfection! It was painless and fast. When we were done, she handed me a menu and as I browsed through it, I thought why not treat myself to a massage? It was Friday and I had a stressful week. They had availability but not for another 20 mins. Meanwhile,I decided to check out their shop area. I found a vintage cocktail dress that I had to have (especially after looking at the price!). One word, INCREDIBLE!!! I had originally scheduled a 30 min massage, but after 15 minutes into my session I changed it to an hour. The massage therapist (Jerry) was extremely professional and immediately put me at ease. By the time my massage was over I felt relaxed and refreshed. I went in for my eyebrows and ended up getting a massage and a new dress! I will definately be back. Pros: Comfortable and friendly ambience, professional and skilled staff, great parking for the downtown area Best Day Spa So I decided to check it out. I looked at some of the merchandise there and was impressed with the selection of books, clothing some beauty products too. But what I was after was to pamper my honey. I spoke to Sandra, apparently an owner and also the person that provided most of the services the shop had to offer. And that proved to be quite a lot! Nails, waxing, massage and other beauty stuff like facials. To be honest, it was all confusing to me. That's where this lady Sandra helped me! She suggested that I might want to get my wife a gift certificate. It turned out to be an excellent recommendation. I wound up scoring a lot of points. My wife used the gift certificate to get a really special waxing that I enjoy as much as she does. She was thrilled at the service, and she was thrilled with the results. So I give Mystic Modes a 5 star rating. Both for my wife, and for making me look good too! Thanks so much Sandra. Pros: Great atmosphere. Very professional. Great personal service. You walk out of there feeling pampered. Convenient location. |
